Dr Janet Hardingham (Senior Partner)

BMedSci BM BS MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH Registration Nottingham 1987

I qualified in 1987 from Nottingham University. I then did my GP training in Mid Sussex. I became a GP partner at Ouse Valley Practice in 1996. I have become increasingly committed to building a cohesive team and supportive workplace from which we hope we can deliver excellent and compassionate patient care.

As well as looking after patients I work as a trainer, supporting doctors in their specialty training to become GPs. I am also involved in annual appraisal of GPs.

I bring enthusiasm, a caring nature and a healthy dose of pragmatism to my role as a GP, which I love. I enjoy teaching and learning which is just an extension of my GP job. I work part time and my home life is very important to me.  My skills outside medicine lie in vegetable gardening, chicken-rearing, swimming, going to clubs and festivals  and spending time with my family and friends.
